Conservatory vents will generally allow rain to enter especially if also windy. By incorporating an EL-VC-AVC002R Rain Sensor, the system will continually monitor for the first drop of rain and take immediate action to give protection against unexpected wet weather.

This unit works completely independently of the automatic controller and directly drives the vent actuators. It is even possible to use this as a main controller with no automatic control at all.
